The Anatomy of St. Louis Real Estate
The St. Louis Home for Sale Team provides a weekly St. Louis County and St. Charles County Market Report to review and plug into your home buying or selling scenario. Your questions and comments are welcome!
With cooler weather here, kids back in school and Halloween candy already in the stores, I guess they (whoever “they” is) would like us to believe that Fall is here. We see a lot of frustrated sellers in the same frame of mind, believing that the “prime selling season” is over. This time of year is still a great time to be in the marketplace, as we will continue to see listings coming off the market. With less competition and buyers actually buying instead of just “kicking tires”, we’ve seen activity picking up ever so slightly. Compared to just a month ago, our listing numbers are down from 6221 to 6029 and our over-all pending ratio has dropped from 14.29% to 12.67%. It seems as though buyer activity is not falling off proportionally to the listings.
Thank you to all who are reading our blog, and finding this information useful. Please do us a favor and take a minute to send us a comment, good or bad..or ugly. Let us know what you think and tell us what else you would like to see here. No promises, other than we will respond to your comments in some form.
